Our concluding workshop with Friends of Shahnameh was jam packed with fun activities!

We started the session with a quick warm up with some Zoorkhaneh movements then swiftly on to recapping and drawing characters from the story of Gordafaird. 

After a quick break, we recited some poems by Ferdowsi and were introduced to the King Darius and his wife Artystone and their link to Haideh’s dance, Prayer of Darius. 

The workshop concluded by reading some lines from Bijan and Manijeh and a big lunch with the families!
